Just last week Warner Bros. Interactive announced the release date for the first story DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight, and today the company released the official trailer for Batgirl: A Matter of Family.
When the Joker kidnaps Commissioner Gordon and threatens to kill him if he sees the Batman, Barbara Gordon must take matters into her own hands. Donning the Batgirl cape and cowl and teaming up with Robin, she infiltrates the Seagate Amusement Park to rescue her father. Standing between her and her goal is a small army of thugs led by the Joker and his sidekick Harley Quinn, who appears in her iconic outfit from Batman: The Animated Series.
While not as physically formidable as the Dark Knight, Batgirl will call on Robin to aid her in combat (the Dual Play mechanic from Arkham Knight makes a return in the DLC), and will use her considerable hacking skills to not only outwit and defeat her enemies but also to solve puzzles and progress through the game world.
Batgirl: A Matter of Family will be available for all season pass holders on July 14, 2015. The DLC will be sold separately for £5.79 on July 21, 2015.
