Revealed at San Diego Comic-con, Shadows of Evil is an all-new zombie survival co-op mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Treyarch promises to deliver “the deepest Zombies experience to date” with Shadows of Evil.
Set in 1940's film-noir era, Shadows of Evil thrusts players into the roles of four unwitting characters – The Magician, The Femme Fatale, The Boxer, and The Cop – who must uncover the secrets and challenges laid out for them by the enigmatic Shadow Man, a shadowy figure that holds their fate in his hands.
Mark Lamia, Studio Head at Treyarch, claims that:
Treyarch has crafted a totally unique and face-melting gameplay experience for our loyal Zombies community.”
The development team promises that Shadows of Evil will be packed with more gameplay and fun than any Zombies mode before it, and will feature a twisted and deep narrative, performed by and all-star cast that includes Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park, Independence Day), Heather Graham (The Hangover 1-3, Californication), Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy, Hellboy), Neil McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger, Band of Brothers), and Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager, Stargate SG-1).
