Released last year for PC, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter captivated both critics and gamers alike with its interesting and thought-provoking story and an atmospheric setting. It took The Astronauts nearly a year to port the game to the PS4, but it seems their efforts were not in vain.
The Poland based development studio tweeted yesterday that it took them 10 months to bring The Vanishing of Ethan Carter to the PS4. The Astronauts have reasons to celebrate as the response of the PS4 community towards the game has been very positive. Released just last week, the PS4 version of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter has already recouped its development costs twice!

It's worth pointing out that the PS4 version isn't just a simple port. The game has been remade from scratch using Unreal Engine 4 and contains various tweaks to the gameplay to make the experience even more enjoyable.
