Last year Ubisoft released Assassin's Creed: Rogue exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Ever since that time, there have been rumors of Rogue coming to PC, but Ubisoft neither confirmed nor denied them.
Today those rumors become a reality as Ubisoft officially announced that Assassin's Creed: Rogue will arrive on PC on March 10th 2015.
Assassin's Creed: Rogue casts a new and interesting light on the conflict between the Templars and Assassins. The game tells the story of Shay Cormac who, after being betrayed by the Assassin Brotherhood, joins the Templar Order and mercilessly hunts down his former allies.
Ubisoft has also prepared a pre-order incentive for PC players. Anyone who pre-orders the game via Uplay will receive one of the previous Assassin's Creed titles free of charge. Players will be able to choose from the following list:
-
Assassin's Creed II
-
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
-
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
-
Assassin's Creed III – Special Edition
-
Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD
-
Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry
Additionally, pre-ordering the digital edition of Rogue will give players access to two pieces of DLC – The Siege of Fort De Sable and The Explorer.
