Capcom has revealed the newest challenger to join the roster of Street Fighter V and it's a fan favorite - the flamboyant wrestler Rainbow Mika joins the fray!
R. Mika makes her return to the series after her debut in Street Fighter Alpha 3. She's an aspiring young wrestler who dreams to one day become a star in the ring, much like her idol Zangief. Under her coach's strict tutelage, she travels the world battling random street fighters to increase her popularity.
In battle, she dazzles her opponents with a variety of high-flying moves. And if that's not enough, Mika can use her V-Trigger ability to summon her wrestling tag-team partner Nadeshiko to set up sneaky attacks and punishing command grab mix-ups that deal devastating amounts of damage. Her V-Skill called “Mic Performance” sees her pulling out a microphone to deliver a monologue to the crowd. In this mode, R. Mika's normal and special throws become more powerful depending on how long the buttons are held down, and she can absorb one hit from the opponent without flinching. The young wrestler can also cancel her monologue at any time, which results in her throwing the mic at her opponent.
Rainbow Mika is a character intended for players who enjoy striking fear in their opponents by employing close-combat guessing games.
Street Fighter V is scheduled to release in Spring 2016 for PS4 and PC. You can check the R. Mika reveal trailer below, as well as her character art and additional screenshots in our gallery.
