Battlefield Hardline falls short of full HD on next gen consoles

As the launch date for Battlefield Hardline approaches, Visceral Games shares more details about their entry into the famous franchise. Unfortunately, not all of them are good.

When asked about the resolution by a fan on Twitter, Visceral Games confirmed that the game will display at 900p on the PlayStation 4 and 720p on the Xbox One. Similar to the 4^th installment on next gen consoles, the cops-and-crooks themed Battlefield will fall short of full HD. Of course, PC players will be able to play at 1080p or higher resolutions depending on how beefy their rigs are.

Battlefield Hardline will launch on the 17^th of March in the USA and on the 19^th in Europe. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
