Earlier this week, Rocksteady and Warner Bros. announced a 40$ Season Pass for the upcoming finale of the Batman: Arkham series.
Answering the community's request for more information on the Season Pass, Warner Bros. announced that one of the offerings will be the ability to play as Batgirl.
In Batgirl: A Matter of Family, players will explore an entirely new section of Gotham as the caped heroine. This expansion will be a prequel story taking place before the events of Arkham Knight.
Of course, that's not all the Season Pass has to offer. Players who purchase the pass will get access to additional character skins, new challenge maps, and even more story missions. Face legendary super-villains as they descend upon Gotham in the Season of Infamy, and play as the allies of the Caped Crusader with their own narrative missions extending their storylines in Gotham City Stories, which take place both before and after the events of Arkham Knight. Last but not least, take the most iconic Batmobiles from Batman's 75-year history for a spin on custom-built race tracks, each themed to a specific era of the Dark Knight's crime-fighting career.
The Season Pass content will be released on a monthly basis after the game's launch. Warner Bros. promised to reveal more details on the content at a later date.
Batman: Arkham Knight will launch on June 23rd, 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
