When Bethesda revealed a few months ago that it will be hosting its first ever conference at E3, it seemed obvious that the company is gearing up to announce something big.
Many speculated that Bethesda will reveal the next entry in the award-winning Fallout franchise. Fast forward to today and it's official - Fallout 4 is coming!
The Fallout 4 official website shows the game's box art for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC thus confirming this is a current-gen only project. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 player will have no choice but to upgrade if they want to play Fallout 4.
Although not much is known about the game at this point, the trailer does offer some hints. For one, the game seems to be set in Boston as indicated by the appearance of landmarks such as the Bunker Hill Monument, the Massachusetts State House or the U.S.S. Constitution in the trailer. The trailer also suggests that this time players will be making their way through the wasteland with a canine companion at their side. What's more, it looks like the player character will be voiced this time - a first for the series.
We can expect to hear more about Fallout 4 on June 14 at Bethesda's E3 press briefing.
