There are dozens of cloud storage services, however Dropbox is undoubtedly one of the most advanced and popular. The path of perfection never ends, as has been shown by the latest update labeled as version 3.0.
Since 2014 developers have had the opportunity to overhaul the app in accordance with the newest Material Design. Late is better than never. The interface looks much cleaner than it did before, and the rebuilt menu helps to roam around the application. Aside from visual revamp, the milestone update improves some features that we are already familiar with.
Alongside with the completely new look, Dropbox now features a floating action button, which is one of the most characteristic elements of Google's new interface. Moreover, the app has gained a colored status bar and a 'hamburger' menu.
Dropbox's update is rolling out to Google Play Store. Even if you haven't seen the message about the 3.0 version, it is worth to wait a bit more.
